Mary Buscher
Training Consultant
Mary has been facilitating leadership development, team effectiveness and culture shaping content for over twenty years. Prior to ATW, she was an HR Senior Talent Development Consultant, partnering with leaders and front-line employees, to develop and deliver content that supported leaders and team members in becoming their best version of self—both as employees and as humans. Her love and respect for people (all people) and being in the classroom is strong, and she strives for meaningful application of classroom learning and tools to real-world experience. “When we know better, we can do better” is Mary’s favorite classroom mantra.
Mary has had the privilege of speaking before financial service professionals, non-profit organizations, professional associations, national sales team, new and tenured leaders and front-line employees. Mary is a professional and certified coach with the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching (iPEC).
In addition to her coaching certification, Mary is certified as a Master Coach with Senn Delaney/Heidrick & Struggles specifically with their culture-shaping content, Fierce Conversations and Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI).
Mary and her husband Dan, have three adult daughters, all living in the Des Moines area. In her free time, she enjoys all-things outdoors, friends, family, and volunteer opportunities in the community.
Mary serves on the Executive Board of Special Olympics Iowa, the Grant Committee Board of Family Cancer Network and supports other non-profits through various volunteer opportunities. “Service to others is the rent you pay for your room here on earth”.
