Frequently Asked Questions.
You talk about “Learning Journeys”, what is a Learning Journey?
At ATW we understand that individuals develop daily, not in a day. In many cases, we work with our client partners to develop what we call learning journeys, where multiple sessions build on one another. Additionally, between sessions we use a blended-learning approach to help with reinforcement and application of what they learn in training sessions. Our goal is to move training from an event to a process.
Developing Leaders Learning Journey
How do you reinforce the training you provide and help participants apply what they learn?
A common statement we make at the beginning of training sessions is the most important part of training is not the session, but what you do with what you learn after the session. With this in mind, we have spent significant time and energy in building reinforcement and application tools that are made available to session participants after training. These tools include short content reinforcement videos, eLearning programs, job aids and Action Plan templates.
Do you tailor the sessions you provide to meet our specific needs?
A common statement we hear from customers is, “Our organization is different than everyone else”. And that statement is true. Each organization we work with has certain characteristics that differ from others. However, what is often common is some of the issues that each have to deal with, including how to unleash the human potential in their organization. Our workflow process integrates several steps where we work with key stakeholders of your organization to understand your specific needs so we can tailor our proven programs to meet those needs. Our goal is to understand where participants are as well as where you want them to go.
Do you provide public sessions where I can send an individual or a small group of my team members?
Our system is called “Public Sessions on Demand”. If you have an individual or a small group of your team members who need training, reach out to us and share your needs. We often have other organizations with the same kind of needs and can work to get a date on our public sessions training calendar. We also offer “training consortiums” several times a year. These consortiums consist of a series of public sessions, typically 3-5 topics, where you can purchase seats at a reduced price. Bottom line, if you have a need, talk to us. We will work to identify a way to meet that need.

Where do you provide your training sessions? Will you come to our location?
In today’s world, where the company workplace can take different forms, the key is to be flexible. We can host your training sessions at our location which can hold up to 50 people comfortably, we can come to your location, we can do sessions virtually, and with the proper technology we can do hybrid sessions. Our training architects will work with you up front to find the best solution.
