What you and your leaders do on a daily basis determines your success and whether others are willing to trust you and follow your lead. At ATW Training & Consulting we believe that leadership is a skill that can be learned. We also believe that leadership is influence. Through the behaviors taught during our one-day workshop you will learn how to increase your influence and leadership effectiveness.
This workshop is a little different. Rather than sitting in the usual classroom or conference room, you and other peer leaders will be escorted on a chartered bus to important Des Moines attractions, each representing a foundation of successful leadership: the Iowa Historical Society and the Iowa Hall of Pride. In our guided “workshop on wheels” you will learn how to build long-term relationships, develop a vision for your team and instill passion in those who follow you, and learn the secrets of effectively mentoring others into leadership roles. This is a true hands-on workshop designed to promote peer interaction through facilitator-led discussions and group problem solving.
You will learn how to:
- Build long-term relationships.
- Develop a vision for your team.
- Instill passion in your team.
- Mentor others with leadership potential.
- Understand values-based leadership and the power of leading others according to their values.
- Privately assess your current level of leadership.
- Create a Maximum Action Plan (MAP) to ensure behavioral change (starting the very next day you will know how to implement what you learned).
